It’s usually a good idea to specify grammatical prefixes in your search requests; otherwise, you’re likely to miss relevant forms. For example, in Bar Ilan Software if you’re looking for references to Moses, it’s a good idea to search for #משה, or else you’ll miss forms such as ומשה, למשה, etc.
• If you specify all prefixes or suffixes, you’ll probably find many irrelevant forms, thereby slowing down your search. Of course, you can always filter out undesired forms before displaying the final search results.
